built with a purpose
how a personal obsession turned into something bigger
Like many moms, I spent so much time pouring into everyone else before realizing how important it was to make time for myself, too. My fitness journey started with Pilates, but when I discovered the Lagree Method, everything changed. I was challenged in ways I had never experienced before, and I quickly saw results—especially in my core and obliques. The more I fell in love with Lagree, the more I started dreaming about creating a studio experience of my own here in Midlothian. I wanted to build more than a place to work out—I wanted to create a place to reset. Somewhere busy moms, working professionals, and everyone in between could step away from the stress of the day and focus on themselves.
Obliques was created to bring together everything I love about Lagree—the challenge, the strength, and the results—with an elevated studio experience that feels completely our own. Moody lighting, great music, an energetic atmosphere, and a community that makes you genuinely look forward to coming back.
A different kind of Lagree experience, designed for Midlothian and built for our community. Welcome to Obliques.

obliques
Somewhere between work, kids, schedules, laundry, drop-offs, deadlines, and taking care of everyone else, it’s easy to forget what it feels like to do something entirely for you. That’s where OBLIQUES comes in.
We created a space where you don’t have to plan the workout, figure out what exercises to do, or wonder if you’re doing enough. Just show up. We’ll tell you where to put your hands, where to put your feet, when to move, and when to hold on for just a few more seconds. For 45 minutes, the only person you have to focus on is yourself.
Whether you’re finding your strength again after having a baby, squeezing in a workout between meetings and school pickup, or simply ready to feel strong and confident in your body again, there’s a place for you here. And while we take the workout seriously, we don’t believe fitness has to feel like punishment. Expect moody lighting, really good music, encouraging instructors, and a room full of women who are all there for their own reasons.
No judgment. No intimidation. No figuring it out alone. Just 45 minutes to turn everything else off, get out of your head, and do something really freaking good for yourself.
